self-esteem vltqss (feat.RESORI)

Took ten pictures, kept all ten
Used to check with you back then
“Is this too much?” — don’t ask that now
You went quiet, I got loud
Same old bedroom, brand-new mood
Getting dressed with nothing to prove
You say, “Someone’s full of themselves”
Yeah, it beats being someone else
Self-esteem, looks good on me
Like the shirt you said I shouldn’t keep
Too much? That’s a you thing
I like me — let me do my thing
Caught my reflection, missed your call
Wasn’t personal at all
You liked me better when I’d ask
Now you want that version back
Self-esteem, looks good on me
Like the shirt you said I shouldn’t keep
Too much? That’s a you thing
I like me — let me do my thing
